What is The Harry Potter Alliance?

The HP Alliance was created to change the world by making activism accessible through the power of story.  Since 2005, millions of fans have offered their time and talents to work for equality, human rights, and literacy around the world.

The organization offers opportunities for local, national, and international service projects (usually designed around a Harry Potter theme) that build community and raise awareness.

Our Chapter - The Greenwood Burrow

Greenwood Public Library is starting a local chapter of The Harry Potter Alliance - The Greenwood Burrow.  Our chapter is focusing on building a community of older teens and adults who love the Harry Potter novels and movies and are interested in being a force of awesome in our local community.

The Mission Statement

The Greenwood Chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance aims to build a welcoming community that engages members in service and inspires fans to imagine a better world.

What to Expect

· Hogwarts House challenges at quarterly chapter meetings

· 2 fun social events a year (ex. Yule Ball, HP Trivia, or HP Escape Room)

· 2 service projects a year (ex. Dobby Sock Drive, Great Chapter Bake Off)
